Given the nature of our work, we ask customers to take a few general photos of their terrace before work begins so that we can get a better understanding of the project.

   • Reviewing information about potential installation
   • Preparation of an illustrative design
     • with the decking area dimensions marked,
     • marking the existing terrace,
     • measuring the height from ground level to the window exit (important because we need to know whether the composite decking system will fit / minimum 4.5 cm)

   Our sales representative can provide full information on:

   • costs to be borne by the customer
   • how we plan to carry out the project,
   • what sub-base will we be using
   • where potential problems may arise.

   Signing the contract

   Please note that weather conditions or additional work requested by a customer may occasionally cause a slight delay to the scheduled date.

   We take care of the entire decking construction project, so the customer doesn't have to worry about a thing.

When starting a new project, we often encounter existing structures that need to be removed. Our team of experts ensures the safe and effective dismantling of old decks, pergolas and other garden structures. Thanks to our experience and specialist equipment, dismantling is quick and efficient, minimising disruption to our customers and the surrounding area.

Responsible disposal

We are eco-conscious and committed to protecting the natural environment. All materials from dismantling are carefully sorted and sent to appropriate recycling or disposal facilities. We arrange for a local company to supply suitable containers or bulk bags to the installation site. We prioritise sustainable development, which is why we work with certified partners to ensure that construction waste is processed in an environmentally friendly and responsible manner.

Site preparation is a crucial stage in building a composite deck, determining the durability and appearance of the entire structure. At our company, we pay particular attention to preparing the base properly to provide our customers with decks of the highest quality.

How do we prepare the ground for building a deck?

The site preparation process begins with a thorough assessment of the conditions at the planned construction site. This includes:

Assessment of ground level

We make sure the ground is level and stable.

Removal of the top layer

We remove grass, soil and all vegetation to expose a stable base.

Ground compaction

We compact the ground, which helps prevent the terrace from shifting in the future.

Laying a layer of weed control fabric

To ensure adequate protection against future vegetation growth.

Concrete posts – what are they?

Concrete posts are structural foundation elements that provide stability and strength for the deck. They are precast concrete blocks that we place at strategic points beneath the deck to distribute the weight of the structure evenly and ensure adequate ventilation and separation from the ground.

Pouring concrete posts

When building a durable and stable deck, one of the key stages is preparing the foundations correctly. If you choose to pour concrete posts, you need to allow extra time for the concrete to cure, which is essential to ensure the maximum strength and stability of the entire structure.

Waiting time for the concrete to set

After the concrete posts have been poured, the customer must wait 7 to 14 working days for the concrete to reach the required hardness and be ready for the next stages of decking installation. This time is necessary to:

• Allow the concrete to fully cure – this process ensures that the foundations will be solid and able to withstand loads.
• Enable precise installation – stable, fully cured concrete posts are essential for the precise installation of the remaining decking components.

Why is it worth waiting?

Although waiting for installation to be completed may sometimes feel difficult for our customers, it is an investment in the quality and durability of the decking. Following the recommended concrete curing times ensures that the decking will remain safe, stable and durable for many years.

Project complexity – a key factor

The time needed to complete a decking project is closely linked to its complexity. Simple decking projects on level ground, with no additional features such as steps or changes in level, usually take less time to install.

However, projects involving significant variations in ground level, complex shapes and additional structures such as steps require more work and time. Each additional element, such as steps or multi-level sections, adds complexity, which directly increases installation time.
