We used 58 DUO Copper composite decking boards, each 5.8 m long to build the terrace. The warm copper shade works beautifully with the building’s light-coloured façade and the pergola’s graphite structure, creating a modern and elegant garden design.

A solid structure is the foundation of a durable terrace

Every durable terrace starts with a properly constructed supporting structure. For this project, we used 56 joists, each 2.9 m long, which provide stability across the whole surface and distribute loads evenly. During installation, we paid attention to:

• correct joist spacing,
• adequate spacing between the decking boards,
• effective water drainage,
• proper ventilation beneath the structure,
• precise levelling of the entire terrace.

This construction ensures durability for many years and comfortable use.

 

An elegant finish to the sides of the terrace.

As well as building the usable surface, we also finished the sides of the terrace. For this, we used 5 corner trims, which neatly conceal the edges of the structure and protect them from mechanical damage.

Thanks to the careful finishing, the terrace looks elegant from every angle, and the whole design forms a cohesive composition with the garden and pergola.

Hidden fixing system.

The decking boards were installed using system fixing clips, which conceal the fixing elements. This solution provides a perfectly smooth surface with no visible screws and allows the material to expand and contract naturally as temperatures change.

The hidden fixing system contributes not only to the appearance, but also to the safety of use and durability of the whole structure.

Scope of work completed.

The project involved the complete construction of the terrace, including:

• preparing the ground,
• building the supporting structure,
• installing 58 DUO Copper composite decking boards (5.8 m),
• installing 56 joists (2.9 m),
• using system fixing clips,
• installing 5 corner trims,
• elegant finishing of the terrace sides,
• precisely fitting the terrace to the pergola structure.

The finished result.
